Which metro stations were closed
According to information released by DMRC, the following five metro stations will remain closed until further notice:
- Rajiv Chowk
- Janpath
- Patel Chowk
- Central Secretariat
- Seva Tirtha
Reason for station closures
Security agencies have increased security in central Delhi in view of the CJP's proposed protest march in Delhi. As a precautionary measure, the DMRC has decided to temporarily close these five stations. This step has been taken to ensure passenger safety and maintain law and order.
