Mumbai Metro Line 1 has launched a new app-based feature called RapidCash. With this, passengers can earn instant cashback of up to ₹20 on every transaction while shopping online on platforms like Amazon, Myntra and Flipkart. Developed in collaboration with Acetech Digital and SequelString AI, the initiative aims to reduce travel costs by allowing users to redeem earnings directly into their bank accounts.

What is RapidCash?

RapidCash is a cashback application developed in collaboration with Asetek Digital and SequelString AI. Launched in April 2026, it rewards users for online shopping. It allows users to earn up to ₹20 per transaction on platforms like Amazon and Flipkart, as well as make instant and secure payments to their bank accounts, aiming to make everyday spending more rewarding.

The operator said the launch builds on a series of passenger-centric innovations introduced over the past 12 years, including WhatsApp ticketing, QR-marker-based mobile ticketing, Metro Rewards, and unlimited travel passes. The company claimed to have served over 120 million passengers so far and maintained over 99% punctuality.
