The 300-metre long skywalk connecting Sector 52 Metro Station of Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC) to Sector 51 Metro Station of Noida Metro Rail Corporation (NMRC) The skywalk, built to seamlessly connect the two stations, has been ready for over a year but is still closed due to technical issues. The NMRC, which is constructing the foot overbridge, said that they will open the facility soon but did not give a specific date. Krishna Karunesh, chief executive officer of the Noida Authority, said, "An air-conditioned foot overbridge has been constructed between Sectors 51 and 52, but it hasn't been opened yet due to ongoing finishing touches. Also, a beam blocking the foot overbridge will need to be removed before it can be opened to the public."

The Noida Metro Rail Corporation (NMRC) has issued a tender for appointment of a detail design consultant (DDC) to design the civil, architectural, electrical and mechanical components for all three extension projects of the Aqua Line - Sector 51 to Knowledge Park V, Sector 51 to Sector 142 and Depot to Boraki. Of these three proposed lines, the detailed project report (DPR) of the Depot-Boraki extension has already been approved by both the state and central governments.
