It was completed in the early 2000s by the City and Industrial Development Corporation (CIDCO) as part of Kharghar's urban design and was officially inaugurated on July 3, 2004. It serves as both a civic hub and a visual gateway to the node. The structure spans the central junction between several sectors, although its exact area is not officially documented. Famous for its Greco-Roman style colonnades, fountains and landscape setting, the square reflects classical influences in a modern Indian public space.

Architecture of Utsav Chowk

Utsav Chowk reflects a fusion of neo-classical and contemporary urban architectural styles. Built by CIDCO in the early 21st century, the design emphasizes symmetry, vertical articulation, and decorative detailing. Constructed primarily of reinforced concrete, marble cladding, and local stone, the structure combines modern engineering with classical design elements such as Corinthian-style columns, arches, and domed pavilions.
