State Museum, Lucknow
The four-story State Museum is housed within the premises of the Lucknow Zoo. It is one of the oldest museums in the city and has been the chief center of attraction for history buffs. It has several galleries dedicated to different eras and studies like Indian sculpture gallery, Nawabs art,
and coin gallery, archaeological gallery, Jain art gallery, Buddha gallery, metal art gallery, Egyptian gallery, a natural history gallery, and others. It exhibits a rich collection of coins, sculptures, prehistoric tools, manuscripts, paintings, bronze images.
