Central Museum owes its roots to the Holka dynasty and was originally established as a part of the educational institute called Nararatna Mandir. Primarily, it was set up to collect photos and documents of the great personalities and later it was converted into a full-fledged museum. Located near the general post office in Indore it houses a wide range of Parmar sculptures, scriptures and also has a rich collection of ancient coins and armor.
