Rajwada Palace, Indore
It is one of the oldest buildings in the city of Indore. The seven-storied structure dates back two centuries and was constructed by the Holkars of the Maratha dynasty. It displays a mixture of Maratha, Mughal, and french style of architecture. The palatial building has a magnificent wooden gate and is guarded by bastions on all the sides. Its beautifully styled courtyard, elaborate balconies, and windows allow one to peek into the opulent past. Kanch Mandir, Indore
This is a wonderous, exquisite work of art and a seat of Jain faith. Located on Hukumchand marg, the temple is an architectural marvel as it is made wholly of glass and exhibits remarkable craftsmanship. It houses walls, ceilings, floor, doors, windows all made of glass and the roof remains adorned by glass cut chandeliers.
