About Central Museum
The Central Museum which was established in October 1929 in the famous Nar-Ratna Mandir. It was established primarily to collect photographs and documents of great personalities and was later converted into a full-fledged museum. Situated near the General Post Office in Indore, it houses a wide array of Parmar sculptures, scriptures and also houses a rich collection of ancient coins and armor.
It has eight galleries showcasing subject-wise artworks. Those who want to know the roots of the culture and tradition of Indore, how the rich civilization developed here, they can all come here to know.

- The important sculptures of this museum are Saraswati, Shiva Vareshwari, Bhuvaneshwari and others.
