To conserve the endemic and threatened species of plants alongside promoting scientific research/training, environmental education, awareness, and recreation the Botanical garden was set up in 2002. Overseen by the Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change it houses about 900 plant species displayed under different sections like Economic Plants, Medicinal Plants, Cacti & Succulents, Green Belt/Woodland, Fruit-bearing plants, Nurseries, and Water-loving plants. It epitomizes mother Nature and is paradise for a nature lover. Primitive plants from the Jurassic era and even earlier epochs like Horsetail, Psilotum Nudum can also be spotted here. It is a perfect hangout for photography, outings, jogging, and leisure walks.
Okhla Bird Sanctuary, Noida
Located at the Okhla Barrage over the lifeline of Delhi, Yamuna the bird sanctuary is a visitor's favorite. Also known as the Shaheed Chander Azad Sanctuary it is home to as many as 300 species of indigenous and exotic bird species. Several ornithologists and bird watchers are drawn over to catch glimpse of birds like Palla’s fish eagle, Baikal teal,white-rumped vulture, sarus crane, bristled grass bird,black-bellied tern, etc. A man-made lake with crystal clear water, towering trees,short trails meant for exploration makes this a picture-perfect spot. It is an ideal place to break away from the urban cacophony and spend some quality time enjoying the bounty of nature.

Rashtriya Dalit Prerna Sthal, Noida
The Rashtriya Dalit Prerna Sthal is a memorial located in Sector 93, Noida. It is a symbol of Dalit pride and is dedicated to commemorate the resilience of the indefatigable stalwarts of the Dalit community. The memorial stretches along the banks of River Yamuna and harbors a museum, statues, and a lush green zone. The sandstone monument has a huge conspicuous dome housing the statues of B R Ambedkar, Kanshi Ram, Mayawati. The sprawling park is segregated into three sections and has 18 feet tall 24 elephant statues. The museum inside offers a peek into the history of the Dalit Movement. It is a prime attraction in Noida and is frequented by visitors and historians alike.
