Okhla Bird Sanctuary, Noida

The most popular is the Okhla Bird Sanctuary located at the Okhla Barrage over the pristine Yamuna River. The sanctuary is known to be a haven for over 300 bird species, especially waterfowl. The Government of Uttar Pradesh notified it as a sanctuary in the year 1990. The sanctuary is abundant in many tall trees and wetland development which covers the entire sanctuary in attractive green canopy.

The sanctuary is spread over an area of 3.5 square kilometres, this serene place serves as a resting place for many urban visitors. The place has several short trails which are ideal for exploration and will be a welcome change for all tourists.
