About Kaliyasot Dam
Kaliyasot Dam is based on Kaliyasot River, a tributary of Betwa River. This dam is situated near Chuna Bhatti village. It was constructed for the purpose of irrigation and it irrigates about 10 thousand hectares of agricultural land in Bhopal as well as Raisen district of MP. The height of the dam is 34.25 metres.
