About Regional Science Center
The Regional Science Center at Bhopal is a part of the National Council of Science Museums (NCSM) under the Ministry of Culture, Government of India. The center is dedicated to popularizing science and technology. The Regional Science Center was inaugurated on 12 January 1995 by the then President of India, Shankar Dayal Sharma. It serves as an educational and recreational resource for students, teachers, and the general public. The Regional Science Center can be visited throughout the year. However, for students and families, school vacation periods, weekends and holidays may be the best time to explore the center and participate in special educational programs.
Architecture of Regional Science Center
The architecture of the Regional Science Center is modern and functional, designed to accommodate various exhibitions and interactive displays. The 5-acre RSCB campus includes a 3-acre science park, which houses over 60 exhibits such as a pulley display, a windmill and solar-powered devices.
