Digambar Jain Temple, Meerut

Digambar Jain Temple is an important site of Meerut city which is known for its rich historical past. This temple is 100 years old and has two important altars. The temple of Tikal Wale Bala is considered very generous and whatever you pray here is surely bestowed by this deity. The temple also houses a 6 feet high Padmasanstha statue of Lord Mahavir Swami, which is beautifully carved.

The most prominent architectural features of the Digambar Jain Temple are the seven altars and shikharas found within the temple courtyard. Some of the most complex structures of the temple are the idols of Mahavir Swami and the 7 feet high idol of Parshvanath with 11 serpent hoods.
