About Vidur Ka Tila
Vidur Ka Tila is situated on the banks of river Buriganga in Meerut. 'Vidur-ka-Tila' This is a collection of several mounds some of which are 50 to 60 feet high. It is said to be the abode of Vidura, who was a wise thinker during the time of Kauravas. He was known for his wisdom and intelligence among the people. Vidur Ka Tila is now an archeological site which gives tourists a good idea about Mahabharata and our mythological past.

- Due to being full of greenery, the environment here is quite picturesque.
- Presently this mound is also known as Anand Giri Miracle Ashram.
- This place is spread over a circumference of half a kilometer up to 50-60 feet height from the surface of the swampy lake of Budhi Ganga.
- It was formed from the remains of Hastinapur, the capital of the Kauravas and the ancient city of the Pandavas of the Mahabharata, which was washed away by the floods of the Ganges.
- You can enjoy spectacular views of the sunset from this mound.
