About Ramakrishna Beach
Ramakrishna Beach, more popularly known as RK Beach in Visakhapatnam, is located in the heart of the city's beach. The beach gets its name from the Ramakrishna Ashram which is located across the road from the beach. RK Beach was developed jointly by the Visakhapatnam Municipal Corporation (MCV) and the Visakhapatnam Urban Development Authority (VUDA).
Highlights of RK Beach include the Submarine Museum, Visakha Museum, Sri Ramakrishna Mission Ashram, an aquarium, Kali Mandir, statues of prominent personalities and roadside restaurants. Tourists can enjoy water activities like swimming, bathing and other adventure sports.
