Elliot's beach popularly also known as Bessie is set towards the southern endpoint of Marina beach shore. The beach has been named after Edward Elliot, former Chief Magistrate and Superintendent of police. The dramatically sandy beach lures locals and tourists alike. Marundeeswarar Temple, Chennai
It is a 1300-year-old temple, located in Thiruvanmiyur, with Lord Shiva as the main deity.
