During Durga Puja several potters toil hard in nearly 560 workshops to make the idols of Goddess Durga during the festival, Durga Puja. These lanes are very narrow but the artisans staying here have set up their work shops for making up of the idols. These potters are magicians and from straws, bamboo sticks, rope the expert potters convert the formless heap of clay into an attractive and breathtaking attractive Goddess Durga idol.
