About Mother House
The Mother House was established in 1953 by Mother Teresa and has been the epicenter of her charitable activities. It is where she lived, prayed, and carried out her humanitarian work, caring for the destitute, sick, and dying. It was from here that she and her fellow sisters extended their mission worldwide.
