Halasuru Someshwara Temple is among the ancient temples in Bangalore and dates back to the Chola dynasty and is devoted to Shiva, the Hindu God. It was constructed in the 12th and 13th centuries the shrine is currently being managed by the Endowment department in the state of Karnataka. Few modifications were also made during the Vijayanagar realm.
