This imposing square shaped edifice, built by Sultan Mohammed Quli Qutb Shah in the year 1951 has beautiful intricate carvings along with striking signature motifs on the pillars and giant-sized clocks on all sides. Charminar has been built with granite and lime mortar. On the top floor of Charminar there is an old mosque while in the middle of the courtyard, there is a 'Vazu Khana' with a small fountain

Qutb Shahi Tomb is located in Ibrahim Bagh near Golconda Fort in Hyderabad. These contain tombs and mosques built by various kings of the Qutb Shahi dynasty. The Qutb Shahi tombs are built on a raised platform and have a dome-shaped structure. The smaller tombs are single storeyed while the larger tombs are two storeyed. At the center of each mausoleum is a stone tomb over a vault in the basement below. These domes were originally covered with blue and green tiles, of which only a few fragments now remain.
