About Paigah Palace
Paigah Palace is located in the Begumpet area of Hyderabad. It was built after Asaf Jah VI, the sixth Nizam of Hyderabad State, gave the famous Falaknuma Palace to Mehboob Ali Khan. Paigah Kulin and Prime Minister of Hyderabad Sir Vikar-ul-Umra decided to build a Europe influence palace after his visit to Europe. He gifted this palace to the sixth Nizam Mir Mehboob Ali Khan. The construction of this palace began in the 1880s along with two other palaces named Devdi Nasir Nawaz Jang and Vikhar Manzi. It was called the Golden Age of the Mughal Empire because the construction of palaces showcased European and Indo-European architecture. The construction of the palace was completed in 1900. In recent years, parts of the Paigah Palace have been used as venues for cultural events, exhibitions and weddings due to its historical and architectural significance.
