The imposing concrete edifice is constructed in yellow basalt and exhibits many Hindu and Muslim inscriptions. This tourist hotspot is the connecting point of the ferry rides leading to the famous Elephanta caves. The view of the boat studded Arabian sea from here is spectacular especially at night.
