Thikkoti Light House, Kozhikode

Nestled between the Velliyamkally Rock on one side and shimmering blue sea on the other, Thikkoti Lighthouse remains surrounded by luxuriant green coconut & palm plantation. The 108 feet tall lighthouse stands along the shoreline of the Laccadive Sea in the Kozhikode district, Kerala. The 19th-century structure was built after a shipwreck and serves as a prime attraction for tourists. Though the structure has grown non-functional over the years, it is visited by a large number of travelers owing to its beautiful landscape.
