Kakkayam Dam is located in the Kozhikode district of Kerala which is one of the tourist attractions of Kerala. Kakkayam Dam is about 60 kms from Kozhikode city. This place is also an interesting place for trekking and rock climbing. Nowadays it is also famous for eco and wildlife tourism activities. Near the dam site, various animals including elephants can be seen.
