Peruvannamuzhi Dam is a dam built on the Kuttiyadi River at Peruvannamuzhi in Chakkitpara Gram Panchayat, near Perumbra in the Kozhikode district of Kerala. The main attraction of Peruvannamuzhi is the natural splendor of its hills. It was constructed as part of the Kuttiyadi Irrigation Project. The rich biodiversity of the place attracts many nature lovers and wildlife enthusiasts.
The climate here is also conducive to the growth of a wide variety of spices and the Indian Spice Research Institute is also located here. Dense forests, lush green hills, crocodile farm, Smara Thottam (a garden), a bird sanctuary and an artificial lake attract many travelers throughout the year.
