Harhanari Vinayagar Temple is dedicated to Lord Ganesha and is located at a distance of about 13 kilometers from the center of Coimbatore, Tamil Nadu. This temple was built in 1500 AD, the idol of Ganesh ji located in it is 6 feet high and 3 feet in diameter. It is believed that when the idol was taken in a cart from Madurai for installation, the axle of the cart was broken and where this happened, the temple was built.
The temple is remarkably clean and serene, with a charming and idyllic environment. Devotees come here every day to show their devotion towards Lord Ganesha.
