It comprises over 400 shops and stores, offering a wide variety of gems and jewelery ranging from low cost handicrafts to millions worth.

Johri Bazar is spread over 2 kilometers of labyrinthine alleys, which are lined with colorful stalls and attentive crowd.

1. Located in the prime area of Jaipur, Johri Bazaar is famous for its precious and semi-precious stones, especially diamonds, topaz and emeralds. It is a large-scale exhibition of fascinating stones, making the market one of the most popular.
2. High-end bargaining helps to reduce costs and procure attractive tie-and-dye sarees, beautiful jewellery, juttis and Jaipuri quilts, which are the best sellers in the jeweler's market.
3. The traditional jewelery here includes Kaundan jewelery (cut and polished glass/gems based on pure gold or metal), Polki jewelery (uncut diamonds in gold base) and enamel work jewelery also known as 'Meenakari' goes.
4. Johri Bazaar is in the middle of the busy Badi Chaupar Junction from Sanganeri Gate. Gemstones are a staple item for sale, with cheap options toward the gate end.
5. If you start at the gate you will step upon countless vendors with stones on the sidewalk. As you get closer to the main square, the shops look more professional and the prices go up a bit.
