About Manmandir Ghat
Man Mandir Ghat is a very divine and grand ghat of Varanasi, it is also known as Someshwar Ghat. The ghat was built in 1585 by Sawai Raja Man Singh, the Raja of Ajmer, and an observatory was also established in 1730. Man Mandir Ghat has many important temples such as Thuldant Vinayak, Rameshwara and Someshwara Temples. The Someshwara Lingam here is a counterpart of the Somnath temple in Gujarat. Here you can see the visitors enjoying the view.

- This is another Ghat of Varanasi which has beautiful buildings and stairs on the banks of the Ganges.
- People use this ghat to put their offerings in the water, small floating candles that go down the river as there is less crowd during the Ganga Aarti ceremony at night.
- It opens at sunrise and closes at sunset. Tickets have to be bought from the ticket counter (table) which is just inside the main gate.
