Suvarna Mahal, Jaipur

Suvarna Mahal is the main restaurant of Rambagh Palace which was opened by Raja Sawai Man Singh. The Suvarna Mahal was once the Maharaja's royal banquet hall, although the large dining room is still mesmerizing and grand, with Italian Renaissance-style Florentine ceiling paintings and mirrors, tapestry-covered walls and gilded walls.

There is an air of serene splendor in the Suvarna Mahal. Gold wallpaper on the double-height walls, Renaissance-style painting on the ceiling which looks very grand, the paintings here are so divine that it can astonish you all.

1. The restaurant is known for its exquisite thali spreads and one can choose to dine in Baradari with its own private window and marble arch. Surrounded by a beautiful green garden and lit with candles, the setting of Suvarna Mahal is ideal for a memorable romantic dinner date.
2. There is an air of serene splendor in the Suvarna Mahal. Gold wallpaper on the double-height walls, Renaissance-style paintings on the ceiling, and silver service. The restaurant has a sense of occasion, and aptly, it has a champagne bar with over a dozen labels of champagne, some by the glass.
3. Food comes from the four royal families of India: Jaipur, Hyderabad, Lucknow and Punjab. Talking about the menu of Jaipur, most of the dishes are from the royal family, whose palace is Rambagh. The excellence of the kitchen can be gauged from the fact that whether it is Kachori or Lal Maas, its quality never falters.
