About Ralamandal Wildlife Sanctuary
Ralamandal Wildlife Sanctuary is one of the oldest wildlife sanctuaries in Madhya Pradesh. Established in 1981, this sanctuary is spread over an area of 5 square kilometres. The place is home to some of the flora and fauna indigenous to this part. It is marked by the presence of blackbuck, panther, blue bull, sambar, barking deer, jarak and chital.
The aroma of sandalwood, teak, eucalyptus and saja trees can further attract tourists. Apart from this, you can also find a hunting hut here which was built in 1905 during the Holkar reign and has now been converted into an information centre.
