About Khan Market

The history of Khan Market dates back to the 1950s when it was established as a local market in New Delhi. It is named after Khan Abdul Jabbar Khan, also known as Dr. Khan Sahab, who was the chief minister of the NWFP from 1945 to 1947, and who helped many refugees escape to safety.
