There are workshops to engage the public especially school children and children in particular.With an area of 12,000 square feet, the Art Museum is one of the largest modern art museums in the world.It houses around 14,000 artefacts of famous people like Rabindranath Tagore, Jaimini Roy, Thomas Daniel etc. Some of the works displayed in the DAG Gallery date back to 1857.In June 2023, DAG organized an exhibition titled The Babu and the Bazaar in Delhi.
