Architecture of Birla Mandir
This temple shows a mixture of Dravidian, Rajasthani and Utkala architecture. It is constructed from 2000 tons of pure white marble. The granite idol of the presiding deity Lord Venkateshwara is about 11 feet (3.4 m) high and has a carved lotus at the top forming a canopy. The temple complex has a brass flagpole that rises to a height of 42 feet (13 m).
