About Ferry Ride Tank Bund
Tank Bund runs between Telangana, India. It connects the two twin cities; First Hyderabad and second Secunderabad. Tank Dam is a water storage tank very large and deep, it was obtained by the Indian Army during the Battle of Basantar in Pakistan on 15–17 December. The famous aspect of Tankband is the Buddha statue which was installed in the middle of the tank. The place is popular for its 33 bronze statues of famous people from Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.

- It is an artificial lake in which perennial water is fed by the canals of Musi river. Hussain Sagar was the main source of water supply to Hyderabad before the formation of Osman Sagar on Himayat Sagar and Musi River.
- Conservation of Tank Dam is a project undertaken in collaboration with GHMC at APPCB (Andhra Pradesh Pollution Control Board), Hyderabad, Telangana, India.
- The only way to reach this monument of Lord Buddha, situated right in the middle of Hussainsagar lake in Hyderabad, is by boat. You have a boat ride from a few points around the lake and the place is worth visiting.
