About Indira Park

Indira Park is an open green space and park in the center of Hyderabad, India. The foundation stone of Indira Park in Hyderabad was laid in 1975 by the then President of India, Late Fakruddin Ahmed. The park is named after Indira Gandhi, one of the former Prime Ministers of India. And it was opened to the public in the year 1978 with complete landscaping. The park is maintained by the Hyderabad Metropolitan Development Authority. It is located in Domalguda, a private area situated on the banks of Hussain Sagar Lake.
