Green Park Stadium, Kanpur

Green Park Stadium is an international level cricket stadium in Kanpur, India. The park was established in 1945 and the stadium is named after a British woman named Green, who practiced horse riding here in the 1940s. Green Park Stadium is a 32,000 capacity floodlit multi-purpose stadium located in Kanpur, India and the Uttar Pradesh cricket team.

Green Park has the largest manually operated scoreboard in the world. It also has video screens which are used during international matches. The cricket stadium is managed by the Sports Department of Uttar Pradesh.

1. The stadium also hosted four VIVO IPL matches on 19 and 21 May 2016 and 10 and 13 May 2017.
2. With a capacity of around 35000 spectators, it also hosts day and night matches.
3. It is the only international cricket stadium in Uttar Pradesh that has regularly hosted international cricket matches in both Test and One Day formats.
4. It is the only stadium in India where a student gallery is available.
5. It is one of the best and beautiful stadium in the city and everything is beautiful and very grand here.
6. Green Park is a huge park having cricket ground stadium, volleyball ground, basketball field with badminton and table tennis indoor stadium.
