About Kanpur Memorial Church
Kanpur Memorial Church is an impressive architectural building also known as All Soul Cathedral. This church was built in 1875 to commemorate the courage and valor of British soldiers who sacrificed their lives in the turbulent Sepoy Mutiny of 1857 in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh.
The church is built in the Lombardy Gothic style and was designed by the East Bengal Railway's architect Walter Granville. Inside the church are heartwarming memorial tables, inscriptions and memorials that pay homage to the soldiers who laid down their lives for their country.

Kanpur Memorial Church is crucifix in shape and built in Lombardo-Gothic style which was designed by Walter Granville, architect of East Bengal Railway. It is made of red sandstone and has a campanile (bell tower) with a spire.
