About Moula Ali Dargah
Moula-Ali It is a well developed industrial and urban area in Medchal-Malkajgiri mandal, it is a part of Greater Hyderabad Metropolitan Region in the Indian state of Telangana. Maula Ali Dargah was built in the memory of Hazrat Ali, son-in-law of Prophet Muhammad. Which is famous for its Maula Ali hill and was built during the period of Qutb Shahi rulers. Moula Ali Dargah is one of the 11 heritage sites identified by the Heritage Conservation Committee of HUDA.
Architecture of Moula Ali Dargah
Maula Ali Hill is about 614 meters (2,014 ft) high. It has 484 steps from the dargah to the foot of the hill and about 600 tombs. The walls of the dargah are reminiscent of the old times.

- There is no restriction if you want to visit dargah and offer namaz or just roam and roam.
- If you're reasonably fit, climbing 500 stairs isn't too tiring. The wide stairs are not very steep, they are made to match the gradual ascent of the hill.
- It is basically a large rocky area with undulating terrain. Opposite the Maula Ali Hill is another hill, called "Kadam-e-Rasool", on which the holy relics of the Prophet were deposited by Mohammad Shakrullah Rehan, a servant of Asaf Jahi.
- Moula Ali is a major center of Indian Railways, various facilities like electric loco-shed are located here. A major training center for the Railway Protection Force, the Indian Railway Signal and Telecommunications Engineering Institute and the South Central Railway's Regional Training School (ZTS) is also located at Moula Ali.
