Sacred Heart Cathedral, also known as Sacred Heart Cathedral, is located in New Delhi, India. It is one of the oldest and most important Catholic churches in the city. Construction of the cathedral began in 1929, and was designed by the architect Henry Mead. The interior features a massive vaulted ceiling, polished stone floors, and wide arches. Behind the marble altar in the apse is a large fresco depicting the Last Supper. The side chapel has a large crucifix on the left, next to which is a statue of the Virgin Mary.
