About Ambedkar Park
Ambedkar Memorial Park is located on Vipul block of Gomti Nagar, it is a public park and honors the life and memories of Jyotirao Phule, Narayan Guru, Birsa Munda, Shahuji Maharaj, Bhimrao Ambedkar, Kanshi Ram and all of them.
It was constructed in the year 2008 by Mayawati, former Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh. Sitting on a chair in the park, Dr. BR. There is a huge bronze structure of Ambedkar whose height is 125 feet.

Ambedkar Memorial Park has been constructed from red sandstone brought from Rajasthan. This park covers a total area of 107 acres.The park also has 124 monumental elephants.

- It is commonly known as Ambedkar Park but its name was officially changed to Bhimrao Ambedkar Memorial in May 2000.
- The interior of the Ambedkar Stupa displays various paintings of Dr. Ambedkar and his life.
- Inside the park you can find more than three thousand elephants in sculptures of different sizes.
- It took 2,700+ workers to complete the Ambedkar Park in Lucknow and 2 fountains have been installed here.
- There are more than 3,000 elephants here including large and small sculptures. 350 artisans from Rajasthan worked here to beautify the place.
