About Anjaneyar Temple

Anjaneyar Temple has a rich history and is believed to be constructed around 1967. It was consecrated and formalized as a temple in 1970. This temple is dedicated to Lord Hanuman, an ardent devotee of Lord Rama and a symbol of unwavering devotion. The popularity of the temple has increased over the years due to its spiritual importance. Anjaneya resides inside the 90 feet high temple tower in the main temple. Anjaneya faces west, and thus the main entrance is towards the west. There is an auxiliary entrance on the southern side which is used during temple festivals. The main temple building has walkways around the sanctum and also a large covered space (mandapam) for devotees to gather before the deity for worship.
