SM Street, it is located in Kozhikode or Calicut Town in North Kerala. Also known as Mittai Theruvu, it is one of the busiest streets and shopping spots in Calicut. The history of SM Street dates back to the time of Zamorin when the ruler invited Gujarati sweet makers to set up shop in the city and accommodated their shops just outside the palace walls.

Mainly famous for Banana Chips and Kozhikodan Halwa, it now has a wide variety of products ranging from Banana Chips, Garments, Shoes, Kitchen Utensils, Bangles etc. You can also find some famous restaurants and bakeries here.
