Thalikakunu Shiva Temple, located in the Kozhikode district of Kerala, is one of the oldest temples in Malabar. The temple is primarily dedicated to Lord Shiva and was originally called Thalikakunu Shiva Temple. The sub-deity is Lord Ganapati, Lord Ayyappa - is worshiped inside Ullabalam and Lord Nagaraja is worshiped outside near a banyan tree.
The temple, preserved by the Kerala State Archaeological Department, is ornate and was constructed in a square style. The temple is of immense historical importance as it was attacked and restored several times. It is of religious importance, as it is the oldest temple in God's own country.
Architecture of Thalikkunu Maha Shiva Temple
The main sanctum sanctorum of the temple is square in shape facing east. It has a two storied sanctum sanctorum with decorated stone sculptors and wooden carvings with scenes from the Puranas. The temple is notable for the huge pond and the walls around it.

- The temple was attacked and rebuilt several times.
- The idol in the temple is in the form of Lord Shiva Linga and is decorated with a silver crescent.
- Inside the main temple is the Namaskarmandapam with the idol of Nandi.
- There is a well here which is used only for the purpose of the temple inside the premises.
- Outside in the southwest corner there is a big banyan tree with idols of Pradiksha Vazi and Nagam.
- There is an entrance road around the temple complex and there is also a roadway from all sides.
