About National Gallery of Modern Art

The place is a paradise for Indian Art Lovers (NGMA), following its motto of bringing its site visitors to a top art international level, the current gallery of the country, the Delhi Gallery, paintings and other creative pieces since 1850. protected from. The main museum is located in the residence of NGMA Jaipur in Delhi. It was established on 29 March 1954 through the Government of India. Covering a rectangular area of 12,000 metres, it is of greatest importance compared to its later branches in Mumbai and Bangalore. Architecture of National Gallery of Modern Art

As a house for the Maharaja of Jaipur, the architect Charles G. Blomfield and his brother Francis B. Blomfield, it was styled after the concept of the key hexagon. It was conceived by Sir Edwin Lutyens. Lutyens, along with Herbert Baker, conceived and shaped the new capital at Delhi.
