About Holkar Stadium
Holkar Stadium was built in 2003 and is located on Race Course Road in Indore. It was earlier known as Maharani Usharaje Trust Cricket Ground and in 2010, Madhya Pradesh Cricket Association renamed it after Mighty Maratha Holkar dynasty. The stadium is well equipped and has state-of-the-art facilities to host day and night matches. With a seating capacity of 30,000 spectators, it has witnessed several One Day Internationals and Test matches.
An interesting feature of the stadium is that the pavilion, dressing room, stands, stadium gate and commentator box are all named after former legends of the cricketing world.

- On 8 October 2016, Holkar Stadium hosted its first Test match, when India hosted New Zealand for the third and final Test of the series and became India's second Test venue.
- It has floodlight facility to host d/n match and has one of the best drainage facilities in India.
- It is considered to be one of the smallest grounds in terms of area size to host international cricket in the world.
- This stadium can be visited as a tourist or visitor only when cricket matches are held.
- The stadium has been designed to an international level.
- This stadium also holds the distinction of becoming the 156th ODI venue in India on March 23, 2006.
