About Nandi Hills
Nandi Hills also known as Nandidurga or Nandi Betta is an ancient hill located in Chikkabalapur district of Karnataka. Nandi Hills was developed by the Ganga dynasty in the 11th century and was also used by Tipu Sultan as a summer retreat. Nandi Hills, situated at an altitude of 4851 meters above sea level, is a favorite destination for all nature lovers and a popular picnic spot.
