About Visvesvaraya Industrial and Technological Museum

Visvesvaraya Industrial and Technological Museum, Bangalore is built in the sylvan surroundings of Cubbon Park. The museum was built in the memory of Bharat Ratna recipient Sir M Visvesvaraya, which was inaugurated by India's first Prime Minister Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru in 1962. The center has seven permanent gallery displays which include copious displays of steam engines, airplanes, motor power, etc. In addition, the museum has a virtual gaming zone, a small planetarium, and a 3D visual display center for entertainment.

The museum is really designed for all age groups with different education backgrounds. It is especially recommended for students of all age groups to trigger their scientific temper and ignite their search for the unknown and the known.

The museum is built in four floors, which is spread over an area of 43000 square feet. This museum is built on the theme of "Science Museum", which has various galleries.
