Maharashtra Metro Rail Corporation Limited (Maha Metro) and Nagpur Municipal Corporation (NMC) have launched feeder bus services to connect metro stations to major educational institutions in Nagpur. The service began with the operation of 32 buses, of which 10 buses are dedicated to routes serving students. Feeder bus service started from Government College of Engineering at Wardha Road to New Airport Metro Station from 26 November 2024.

According to a press release issued by the agency, trains will run at an interval of 10 minutes from 8 am to 11 am and 4 pm to 7 pm instead of the earlier 15 minutes. The agency said this would effectively increase the frequency of train services by about 25%.
