- The Orange Line of the Nagpur Metro, also known as the North–South Corridor is part of the mass rapid transit system in Nagpur.
- It is the first line of Nagpur Metro and was inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on 7 March 2019.
- Nagpur Metro Line 1 runs from Khapri to Sitabuldi, covering a distance of approximately 13.5 kilometres.
- It has 20 metro stations from Automotive Square to Metro City, out of which 15 stations are elevated and 5 stations are at grade. Sitabuldi station is an inter-change station.
- The average inter-station distance is 1.20 km which varies from about 0.54 km to 2.4 km depending on the site, operational and traffic requirements.
Nagpur Metro Orange Line Extension in Phase 2
The Orange Line (Line 1) of the Nagpur Metro is being expanded in the second phase. The northern extension, Reach 2A, will stretch 13 km from Automotive Square to the Kanhan River, with 12 elevated stations that will improve accessibility to north Nagpur. The southern extension, Reach 1A, will add 18.7 km from Khapri to Butibori MIDC ESR, with 10 stations connecting industrial and suburban areas. This project is planned to be completed by November 2027.
