Representing an advancement over the Contactless metro smart card, the National Common Mobility Card (NCMC) is a transport card with interoperable capabilities, conceptualized by the Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs in India. Issued in various forms, including prepaid, debit, or credit RuPay cards, this card can be obtained through collaboration with banks like the State Bank of India, Bank of India, Punjab National Bank, and other partnering institutions.

National Common Mobility Card (NCMC) is used in Bangalore Metro for travel purpose.

How to get Bangalore Metro NCMC One Nation One Card?

To get the RBL Bank Namma (BMRCL) Metro NCMC Card you just have to follow the below mentioned simple steps:

  1. Download the "BMRCL RBL Bank NCMC" App from the Google Play Store.
  2. Access through the web portal link: "https://nammametro.agsindia.com/"
  3. Fill in the basic KYC details in the app/web portal itself.
  4. A registration number will be generated.
  5. You may visit the nearest Bengaluru Metro Station / RBL Bank Branch and provide the registration at the Metro counter / RBL Branch and basic OTP authentication;
  6. Bengaluru Metro NCMC card will be activated and given to the cardholder.

For getting the card issued, you are mandatorily required to visit your nearest metro station with one of the following OVDs (Officially Valid Documents):

  • Passport Number
  • Voter ID
  • Driving License Number
  • NREGA Job card
  • Letter issued by the National Population Register containing details of Name, Address, or Any other document as notified by the central government in consultation with the Regulator

Note: “Customer can voluntarily submit their Aadhaar Card number" for getting the card issued.
